A garden waste bin, if you have one, copes fine with a normal fortnight’s clippings. It isn’t built for a winter cut on a long boundary hedge, or a season’s prunings stacked behind the shed. And Chaldon Road is closed on Thursdays and only takes cars. We’ll bag or load the waste, rake the area clean and take it to licensed facilities. Big logs and limbs from tree work belong with whoever did the tree work. Anything we can’t take, we’ll tell you before we load up, not after.

What are the Caterham dump opening times?

Surrey County Council lists the Chaldon Road centre as open 8am to 4pm on weekdays except Thursday, when it’s closed, and 9am to 4pm at weekends. Hours do change, so check the council website before you go. Or ring us and skip the trip.

How is garden waste removal cost worked out?

By how much there is and how easy it is to reach. A few bags by the gate is a quick job, a big heap at the top of a sloping garden is not. We’ll give a fixed price once we’ve seen it.
